ABOUT THE ARTIST |
Dawn graduated cum laude with a BFA in illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in 1983. She now resides in Hanover, PA. While in college she illustrated her first book published for the University of Maryland Medical Services. She worked at W.B. Doner Advertising as an in-house illustrator doing many marker comps, finished art and storyboards for years for clients such as The Ad Council, Ford, Tio Sancho, Klondike, and the Mid-Atlantic Milk Marketing Association. Freelance illustration and teaching followed, with watercolor, marker and pencil as the mediums of choice...architecture, people and animals are her favorite subjects.
Dawn's architectural renderings can be seen all over the web as well as in print nationally for marketing for builders and developers. Her animal artwork is available as prints and other items.
